My mom speaks up / A show all about ADVICE

Happy end of Daylight Savings. Hope you enjoyed your extra hour of sleep. My upstairs neighbors' kids were stomping and jumping and screaming so much, we actually bemoaned the additional hour. But boy, can I use the extra sunshine!

So, my mom (who used to be shy...I can barely remember this) became quite vocal during my year of Living Oprah. Here's a recent podcast she did, discussing her feelings about her son-in-law: my husband Jim. I hope there won't be too much fence-mending necessary. Click here to listen. And please do comment on the Ready, Set...Wife! blog. My mother LOVES chatting with you guys.

Also, here's a Canadian radio interview I did about Living Oprah. A very interesting show called DNTO (Definitely Not the Opera) with Sook-Yin Lee. This episode is called: "Is "advice" really the worst vice?" You can guess why I was invited on the show, eh? Click here to listen. Enjoy and let me know what you think!

Seems to me that you give advice (and plenty of it), by your comments on how we should be or not be, whether it is in your book, blogs or feedback. I am so glad I wasn't the mum at the doctor's office, or one of the people at Selmarie's or any one of the numerous anonymous, or famous people who become your target.

Hi!
I just want to let you know that I was watching TV (live in Sweden, Europe) and it was about "Living Opera" (CBN).
I hade to log on to my computer at once to see what this was.
I just want to say that it's a shame there are not more people like you in the world.
You make a difference to so many and it has such a positive affect on so many people.
You should be so proud!
God bless you..

Best regards from a person who'll follow your blog in the future.
