I missed Oprah as I went to the gym this morning. I've got her taped and will catch her show later. However, I am watching Martha Stewart right now as I type. Drs. Oz and Roizen are promoting their newest book, YOU: Having a Baby. They’re sipping health-promoting green drinks and chatting with the Doyenne of Domesticity. It’s almost shocking to hear Dr. Roizen speak so much. He was rarely brought onstage on Oprah -- he and Oz had a sort of Penn and Teller thing going on. He’s really knowledgeable, but definitely not as smooth and relaxed as his partner in crime.
By the way, is anyone out there watching the Dr. Oz show? I haven’t seen it. I’d love to hear what you think.
Ok, I have to go, Martha's teaching us how to make faux pearl necklaces now. When winter strikes, I get crafty, people. There's no stopping me. If you live in Chicago and see a woman bundled in a winter coat, two glue guns holstered around her waist, please say hello. That's me.

I was watching "The Dr. Oz Show" every day for a few weeks last month, but then I just couldn't keep up. I think the show is pretty good and really informative overall.
My only complaint is about his "ask the audience" segment. The questions are usually really good, but he is given so little time to answer each one that I rarely get any insight from the segment. He ends up talking so fast that you can tell he's really trying to rush through to get to the next person...actually, it reminds me of going to my doctor!
I DVR Dr. Oz and watch only if topics interest me. I don't watch just for the sake of it. His show is different than a "talk-show" in that it is topic-specific, so it's easy to decide what/when to watch.
I totally agree with Courtney about the "ask the audience" segment. Waste of air time!
I've watched Dr Oz as well and found it very informative. However, I don't like how he pushes supplements or the obvious product placement.
Love you Robin...Love, love, loveeeeee Oprah. I live in Rockford and we don't get Dr. Oz!!!!!!! Maybe for the new year. Come on all Rockford Fans, lets demand Dr. OZ.
Hey Crafty woman! Making your own jewelry is a blast and this time of year is perfect for it!
I am enjoying Dr Oz, I also DVR and watch topics of interest. My mom and I watched the "Dr. Oz Sex Ed Class" together, including his live on national T.V. identification of the G-Spot - with wine of course! I also agree that ask the audience is a waste of time, time he could use to expand other segments on the show that sometimes leave me thinking "Ok, I wanted MORE on that topic." Overall thumbs up, but I do want him to slow down and not cram so much into a show that you feel like it's a heatlh buffet.
and PS: that G-Spot identification was on a diagram, NOT a real live woman! Just thought I'd clarify!
I like Dr. Oz's show but I'm unable to watch it everyday since I don't have a DVR due to moving back to parents house in SC. Funny how technology really affects your viewing habits. It is cool show. I also watch The Doctors too.
I was unable to find a job in Chicago but I make a lot of connections so hopefully I can return.....
I watch Dr. Oz every single day and I love it! I agree that he sometimes doesn't even answer the questions on that segment. Sometimes it seems he has his own agenda of what he wants to say instead of answering their question.
And, I don't agree with him showing generic vitamins like they are as good as anything and as if it doesn't matter what brand you use. He might let the audience know that 85% of the supplements sold do NOT work! I know he cannot use they show for advertising specific products, but maybe he should let people know the truth and to do their own research. Those are my thoughts of the day! Thank you!
I love Dr. Oz show. I record it every day. Love your site here to Ms. Keep up the great work. Long live Oprah! Can't wait for her new network to come out-brings to mind the 'ol saying: "Grow old with me, the best is yet to be".
