I timed it

After Oprah revealed to her audience that they were there to view the summertime Favorite Things episode, they screamed and cried (we're talking copious tears!) for 1 minute and 24 seconds. That is something else, isn't it? I wonder if they had know they weren't going to strike it rich, would they have lost their rationality? Does anyone know if they need to pay taxes on their free gifts? Maybe not, since they didn't get gazillion dollar freebies to take home like they would in the winter...I was just curious...

So, the pregnant man, Thomas, who Oprah had on the show back in April has given birth. On June 29th, he and his wife had a little girl. Read more about it! Maybe Oprah will do a follow up in the fall?

I just saw some recipes on Oprah's website from Fourth of July Cooking with Art Smith. I think I have everything I need in my new apartment to cook the tilapia and summer vegetable risotto.
