Pray for me.

Today is a really big day for me. It's Shopping for a New Bathing Suit day. I have turned to Oprah.com for advice on how to find a new suit that's flattering and that makes me feel like a million bucks. My husband and I are planning to hit the beach this summer and I can't wear my dowdy old suits this year - not after watching the "How to Look Great at Any Age" episode yesterday! Whether or not I'm brave enough to post before and after photos on the blog is another question. Maybe I need another month or so of the Best Life Challenge before I will feel confident enough.

Today's show was about updating outdated decor. Oprah asked us to follow some of Nate Berkus' advice if our homes are behind the times. I don't really qualify for these assignments. Luckily, I cleared my home of dried flowers many years ago. (Hello, how much dust could one dehydrated rose collect? Sheesh!)

Without homework for the night, I think I'll work on my Chapter 3 homework for the next webinar. We'll see. I might also want to chill out. Oprah's kept me so busy lately that I forgot that she also told us to relax and take time to take care of ourselves in the January 2008 issue of O, The Oprah Magazine. Later, after my errands, I'll reread the magazine and check out the website and find out how Oprah thinks I should relax.

This is wonderful! I just found you and hope to keep checking in for sheer entertainment. You've got material for five thesis/dissertations right here! I used to be a fan of O's but then got sick of her self-righteous, know it all -ness. Has she found you yet? I haven't read all the archives . . . but am working on it.

hiya! no word. i went into this project imagining it would stay so small that no one at harpo would even catch wind of me. but, as the blog is being visited more and more and i do live in chicago, i suppose it's always a possibility. you can be sure i'll post if it happens!

thanks for the support and the laugh - 5 thesis/dissertations indeed! hilarious.

best,
