Did y'all see the show today with the parents who had a pair of twins and a set of sextuplets? Holy cannoli! Bless those parents' exhausted hearts. They seemed to be really well adjusted, but for me, watching that segment was the most effective birth control I've ever tried. Yowza.
It was another mish-mash show and the 2nd segment contained an Oprah assignment on the topic of the television movie, "Raisin in the Sun." Here it is: "This Monday night, I want you to grab your family...and your popcorn and sit down to experience a television legend and a music mogul in a highly anticipated movie event." You know, I've read the play and have seen some of the classic movie with Sidney Poitier, but I've never watched the entire piece. I will on Monday, though! Anyone else have plans to watch?
Then, there was a montage of famous people talking about how much A New Earth meant to them. Isn't it interesting that we've not yet seen or heard from Eckhart Tolle? Why is he being kept behind closed doors? I can't wait to finally hear his voice during the online class!
I was disappointed to see that Oprah isn't doing her day-after-the-Oscars show this year. She must have had a lot to do with her new show starting in a couple weeks. I guess even Oprah gets too busy to do everything she wants to do.
Ok, speaking of busy - I can jam in a little shopping before I go teach my classes today and I'm heading out to hit some 2nd hand stores to pick up more Oprah-advised fashions. Wish me luck and I hope everyone has a great weekend.
