Setting some ground rules

Hi all, so based on the questions and feedback I've gotten over the past week, I've clarified a few of the guidelines I'm setting for myself. Folks have asked if I am going to retroactively create the world for myself that Oprah has suggested over the many years she's been on TV. This felt impossible to me. What I've decided to do is start "living better" beginning on January 1st. I am preparing to do this with the January 2008 volume of O Magazine. I've been told the Oprah Winfrey show will begin with new episodes after the first week of the new year.

However, I will be using past shows and the website as references. If I am planning a party, looking for financial guidance, need relationship advice, etc, I will refer to Oprah's past counsel to guide my life choices.

Oprah sets the bar high and I'll be regularly journaling on this website about my journey to live up to her expectations.
